Autumn: "Play time"

My drawing depicts two cute black kittens playing amongst the newly fallen leaves. I wanted to create a sense of joy and adventure and celebrate the beautiful colours that autumn brings. I chose to draw black cats amongst the yellow and orange leaves to give a strong contrast between the two references of the image. I also wanted to create a very definite focal point of the two kittens and therefore made the background full of blurry leaves. My ideal autumn day.
